For The Cube's annual Summer Holiday Program the theme was Simulation. My team mate coder Allan Bishop had been tinkering with realtime shallow water equations and shaders, which looked awesome but needed some art loving! so we teamed up to turn in to a proper project and created a fully interactive water tank that allowed for realtime water displacement, caustics, refraction SDF based shadows and object buoyancy physics. All in Unity.
The art style was to replicate 'toy' objects that you would play with in the bath and anchored into a real setting.
